More like... today is a new day. I'm joining the Papertrey Ink team! (If you can't believe it, either, take it from Nichole. I hear she's the one in charge.) What can I say? Yeah, I'm shocked beyond words a little surprised, too. Trust me. The sky must be falling down somewhere, but that worries me because of all the pigs that are probably flying around in it. I'm feeling pretty darned grateful. Both for Papertrey and Paper Crafts. Because I pretty much love them both immensely and am counting myself pretty darned lucky. But... it's a little bittersweet today. Because I *love* Kim Hughes. Kim and I go way back. Waaaaaaay back. As in, when Kim and I first became friends, I had a baby. Baby. Singular. That was like 2 other babies ago. Back when this crazy Party of Five was only a Party of Three. {Doesn't have the same ring to it and, therefore, we did not call ourselves that.} I remember the exact baby gift she sent me when Zeke came around and stole my birthday. So it seems kinda wrong to join PTI as Kim is leaving. But... um... yeah... I think I'm still gonna go for it. :) I leave you with a few more of my PTI faves from over the years... This is one of my first PTI cards that appeared in Paper Crafts. That made me double happy.I used a waterbrush to make the ink on the blooms seep out into the white space a bit. And one of my fave 10 Minute Scrap Pile Challenge cards. I've used that sentiment on approximately 1 million cards to date. You could call it a fave.
