An Apple a Day

Or at least, an apple today on a timely little card below.

I tend to get a tiny bit overwhelmed when the opportunity comes up to work with a whole line of products. I get this urge to use some of *everything* on *everything* because it just seems like I need to in order to do it justice. Those urges tend not to turn out well, my friends. It's not that I really want to use everything on everything, it's just that I feel like I should. Does that make any sense?

Anyhow, I've kinda come to the realization that creating things and doing things while creating just because I think I should just does not work for me. I need to make what I make and use what I use simply because I like what I make and I like what I use... because it feels right, because that inner creative part of me says it will work. Not because I feel like I should. Know what I mean?

That's all to say, I was pretty happy with the way these two cards turned out. I used what I liked and I made what I liked.

And that makes me happy. {abc's & 123's} Teacher's Pet Collection (Imaginisce): PP = My New Pencil Box, Wipe That Up! That ribbon is to die for! I love both your cards! Yay you for using what you love! It's difficult when you get bogged down in things you HAVE to use!
