Hey, friends!
I thought I'd join in on the Papertrey Blog Hop this month! Love the theme... inside out... finishing out the inside of your cards.
Because it's a Monday, I decided to keep with my 10 Minute Scrap Pile Challenge theme and just add the inside of the card to it.
(Yeah... I gave myself an extra few minutes for that!)
And in the interest of transparency, let me just say that this is attempt #2. As in, my #1 attempt will not be seeing the light of day. Ever.
Never ever. Just thought you'd like to know that while I'm loving my 10 minute challenge and all the neat things it's bringing to me design-wise, yeah... sometimes I still make a big fat stinker.
I like this one much better.
The aqua/yellow/gray color combo came from an assignment I just completed and I *love* it! Feels very fresh. All the elements are left over from that assignment... I enjoyed kind of re-thinking them to make something totally new. I stamped the sentiments in Smokey Shadow because that is my
drug ink of choice lately.
The right side of the card front is punched with a half circle to make a sort of finger pull while the aqua patterned paper half circle is adhered to the inside...
I'm totally digging doing super simple things like that on these 10 minute cards. Something just a tad unique to really make a 10 minute card so much more than just a regular ol' card.
Because I really try to keep things simple on Mondays, I left the inside pretty clean with just the half circle accent and sentiment. I love the idea that you can finish out the inside of the card and still have it be quick and easy... it doesn't have to be a ton more work. Papertrey's
Friends 'Til the End set has a ton of sentiments that work well with the whole outside/inside concept.
Thanks for stopping by!
Later, friends!

*Love* the inside of your card! I'll definitely be case-ing that!! :-)
That is so cute! I love it! I am glad to know there are crafters out there who, like me, would like to stuff some projects in a dark hole where no one can find them!
Adorable! (And my curiousity is definitely running amuck at the idea of you making something that won't see the light of day!)
This "simple" card is wonderful. Thanks for another inspiring 10-minute card!!
Those colors are gorgeous! I really like how you cut out a circle on the side and put the sentiment off-center. It is such a fun card!
Jess I LOVE it!!! Such great colors!!! I too am curious about your other card! LOL!! - Glad I am not the only one who feels that way about cards sometimes! :) )
This is so fab!! I love the unusual placement of the inner sentiment, and the design is so simple yet so funky!
