Unless it's a Monday.
And it's a morning.
Because I don't do mornings.
I've debated taking up a coffee addiction for the sole reason of becoming one of
those people.
You know.
A
morning person.
My husband is one of
them.
And two of my children are.
One of them is like me.
He needs some time.
Some quiet.
Some adjustment from the sleepyhood of night into the loudness of day.
And so do I.
So I do not sing in the mornings.
Unless I'm going in to wake up one of my children who is one of
them.
Because he seems to like the "Good morning!" song in the morning.
He probably thinks I'm a morning person because I sing it to him.
That is so not the case.
But birdies... they're usually morning people.
Or morning birdies, as it were.

Wow Jess... It sounded like you were describing ME. I'm not THAT person either. Whether I'm in bed by 8, 12, or 2, the results are the same. And my hubby is quite the opposite. Lol.
Love the birdy punch... and the woodgrain is the perfect touch. Love it. :)
I'm such a morning person. But then I crash and burn at 9:00 at night, too.
Love the card. I've seen this punch and wasn't sure how it was supposed to look. Now I think I need it!

Ha ha ha ha ha!!
First, I had to call my mother AS I was reading this post because it totally reminded me of her waking me up as a child (okay, so maybe when I was 20 or so...)with the "Good Morning, Good MOOOORRRNing, You slept the whole night through" in the most obnoxious naselly voice ever. And you know what? I had to call her to tell her that I kind of missed it. :) (Perhaps the annoying singing was a sign that she really wanted me to move out! LOL!)
Second, I am not a morning person either. Even by like 9 o'clock. And then I have to deal with 22 little 6 year olds...
Third, I would love to play in your little challenge, but I can't make anything from my scrap pile. I guess I pull out some colors kind of, but I just don't know that I can do a "creation" from my scrap pile. Maybe I'll try...
Anyways - thanks for the morning memory. :)
