Misty 10MSPC
Today's 10 Minute Scrap Pile card...
Straight outta my scrap pile... just the way I like it.
All I did was add the sentiments and stitching.
The misting on this one was reminiscent of the sun to me, so I almost went with a more "sunshiney" sentiment, but I wavered because I didn't want it to go all cheesy on me. Don't get me wrong, I love myself a good cheesy card as much as the next gal, but the misting on this one felt a bit more moody.
I thought this Technique Tuesday sentiment (from Ali Edwards' beach themed set) would kind of hit the spot without treading too far into the land of cheese. I use this sentiment a lot... it's encouraging without being trite.
It's kind of a real life sentiment to me.
I like that.
I'm diggin the sentiment-around-the-corner, too. Your eye is naturally attracted straight to the deep pinky/red first thing where you start reading the sentiment, which takes you around the corner and leads you to the stitching, which takes you right back to the beginning again.
I love it when things work out like that!
Later, friends!

LOVE it!
lovely card - did you double ink the middle sentiment to make it bolder? and how did you do the misting?
