I'm exposing my personal design process and mishaps that it took to get to this card. Trust me when I say that seeing the card ideas I had previous to this one will most likely make anyone feel better about their own mishaps :)

wow! i love this card!
Love this! (and the pinata reference made me LAUGH!!!) also loved the paper dolls & doilies!!! :D
It's nice to hear the pro's also are sometimes paddling like mad under the smooth feathers of their finished product!
I wrote a similar blog post you can read here

It's a tad less restrained than yours ...and I have't improved much.. !!
Thanks for your wonderful inspiration - I love visiting your blog !

Not at all! We all do the same thing. {Okay, maybe not EVERYONE} It just takes a woman of strength to share the process. I'm glad you did.
Jess, I loved your story - so honest. And your card is SUPER cute. I know the feeling you describe all too well, except I seem to take things apart & fiddle rather than start from scratch. And I've realized the hard way that having a sketch or color combo helps keep me on track. :)
I love the story behind this card. I can totally relate!
Love the finished result - it was worth your determination to see the idea through to the end ;)
LOVE your story. Especially the part about living in Texas and pinatas -- I'm in Austin! I know exactly what you mean! :)
LOVE the last card, too! :)
