Sketchtastic

I have to say... I'm loving the sketches lately. Sometimes they're just the spark you need to get the mojo fires burning, right? I've been busting out some cards based on sketches this week. Paper Crafts is working on an all new special issue with 84 new sketches. Yeah. Seriously. That's a lot of sketches to choose from. During my flight-back-from-CHA-that-ended-in-layover-disaster-of-the-year-fiasco, I had more than enough time to doodle some sketches for this issue while living in an LAX window well. See? It's based on one of my 10 Minute Scrap Pile cards. This one, to be exact: I love using my 10 minute cards for sketches for cards. They tend to be pretty simple in design and that usually makes for a sketch that is simple... open to interpretation with lots of white space {my favorite}. You can find this sketch (#61) and 83 of its friends right here. There are 4 more of my sketches in there, too... can't wait to see what people come up with for them! Can you guess which ones are mine? Here are the details for submitting. The call of sketch cards ends Monday night, so get crackin'! {You are Fabulous} card Stamps - Say it with Style (PTI) Ink - Summer Sunrise (PTI) CS - Kraft (PTI) PP - grid and flowers (October Afternoon); glitter paper (Best Creation)

Sorry your flight was full of drama - I'm thinking that was the story pretty much country wide but what a neat pastime!
