Just a Note

but first, a spoiler alert!

If you've earned an anniversary set from Papertrey Ink and you have the utmost powers of patience, you never peek at any Christmas presents, and you're waiting to be surprised by what's in the brown box on its way to your home... well, then, look away.

If you've earned an anniversary set from Papertrey Ink and you have a weakness for instant gratification, you have honed your skills at imperceptively removing scotch tape from wrapped packages, peeking at your gifts, and then placing said scotch tape perfectly back in place every time... well, then... look on, my fellow sneak peekers...

This is my first project with Botanical Silhouettes and I am totally digging this set.

The solid flowers made for a simple card by just stamping them and heat embossing with an iridescent embossing powder.  A frame done with a glue pen, ruler, and glitter brings the sentiment and images together quickly.  I actually busted out eight of these at one time to send out to some folks that I'm missing right now :)

I just touched the tip of the quick and easy iceberg with this one, but I'm dreaming of watercolored flowers next.

And before I go... just a note to all of you who left me a note here or commented over at Paper Crafts Connection on my last Go-to Gal post... you guys are the *greatest*.  Thanks for all of your sweet words... I read them all and appreciated each and every one.

Is iridescent embossing powder the same as holographic embossing powder from Ranger? I bought the Ranger today just because of this card, but haven't opened it yet.
