A little Technique Tuesday love for you today.
Starting with a little Technique Tuesday + embossing + misting...
The tree image (Life Is Good) is more of a square image so I just restamped part of the grass and flowers (see that long patch of grass beneath the swing and tree?) off to the left a few times to keep the image going.
To get the fun background color I started with an yellow/orange patterned paper and then sprayed the upper left area with Rum Punch mist (Tattered Angels) to create the pretty sunset effect.
I added a few sentiments from the Kids Are Cool set... lots of the sentiments in that one are perfect for this sweet image.
Next one is definitely less sweet, more modern...
I'm such a sucker for
a) yellow and gray
b) houndstooth
c) layering sentiments
d) highlighting sentiments
Obviously, since they are all on this card.
Seriously, though... super love the giant houndstooth print :) It comes along with a smaller print houndstooth, but I love that the giant print makes such a big impact on simple cards.
Special thanks to Technique Tuesday for having me this month!
