Day at the Beach

I have an issue regarding the weather around here. It's getting cooler. As in... under 100 degrees. That is not ok, people. We went swimming today and instead of the pool being moderately warm like my epidermal covering has come to expect, it was cool... coolish... on the cool side. In any event, not as warm No, thank you. I do not appreciate this. That means that my summer days are slipping away. Nooooooooo. So, in an ode to summer, I'm going with this...

I made it this month for the Glue Arts blog. Their Adhesive Squares are *perfect* for adhering felt. Super simple.

If you're feeling crafty this weekend, why not get your stamp on and submit a few projects to Stamp It! Techniques? This super fly issue will be focusing on...

  • paper piecing with stamped images
  • using spray-ink mists on stamped projects
  • masking
  • using markers on stamped projects
  • gradient/spectrum stamping
  • heat embossing

You'll find all the deets right here. I'm excited... I've been working on a few things today and will still be busting some things out this weekend. What about you?

This is me, signing off and holding desperately onto whatever heat there is left.
