Hands of Time

Hello, all!

It's about time for another release at Papertrey Ink and that means super fun posts from the design team!  All of January's new products will be available at Papertrey Ink starting on the 15th.

The first of the brand new January products?
Hands of Time...

A time themed set?
Yup... love :)

That Clock Face die is a classic... makes for a great stand alone element.  I added the Hands of Time clock hands and some die cut numbers from one of the new Number Time Trio dies.

My favorite part of my modern little clock is the clear cardstock layer behind the clock face die.  It adds that glassy reflection and just makes it all clock-y, in my humble opinion ;)

The sentiment is actually three separate pieces - love the flexibility there.  I stacked them and embossed the last phrase to bring the bright white of the clock face die down to the corner.

I love that this one came out a bit funky... traditional images/elements don't have to stay traditional ;)

Yup, this layout is for all you clean and simple gals out there... clean and simple layouts DO exist :)

This one shows my two boys having a rare quiet moment... couldn't help but sneak up and snap a few while they were deep in conversation.

Hands of Time has clock faces in two different images.  The larger image coordinates with the clock face die I used earlier.  It's large enough to hold its own as a major element on pages, too.

Lucky for me, a few of these clock face embellishments survived the purge I put upon my craft supplies last week.  I used one to ground one of the Hands of Times sentiments and one to ground a little Crate sticker at the top of the page...

Hands of Time seems to pair well with the previously released Gratitude Journal set.  I finally settled on adding this Gratitude Journal sentiment and another Crate sticker...

These were fun projects!  I've been hoping for a time centered set for a while so this month was an exciting one for me :)  Hands of Time has that classic PTI feel... timeless and elegant.  This one feels like a new basic to me.

And just when you thought we were done... nope!  Lots more to be seen today with the rest of the Papertrey Ink design team...

Gorgeous card and your scrapbook page is so simple but very powerful. I love that the boys didn't know you snapped their photo.

Great idea to use the clear cardstock (and I love the wood behind, too!) I also love the subtle elements on your page. CAS and wonderful! TFS!

The card is so well balanced and says so much. Like the clear CS behind the clock too, very realistic. Really lovely LO. Simple, effective and very touching.

Love the idea of using the clear sheet to give the shiny look on the clock face. Love this set.

Awesome idea to add the clear c/s behind the clock, and the woodgrain makes it look like the clock is hanging on the wall. Great job, Jess! Like your CAS scrapbook page & snapshot of your sons.

The card is beautiful, as always, but I'm really in love with your scrapbook page. I adore the single photo, all the white space and the symbolism of the clocks. Perfection!
